Trustee Recruitment

Would you like to become happier, learn new skills, boost your confidence and develop your leadership abilities? According to a survey by Getting On Board, all of these can be achieved by becoming a Trustee of a charity.

Fortunately, Al-Mizan Charitable Trust is looking to appoint up to three new Trustees to its Board, including a Secretary and Treasurer. Al-Mizan Charitable Trust is a grant-funder that supports disadvantaged families and deprived communities across the UK, regardless of their faith or cultural background.

As a Trustee, you will be responsible for developing the long-term strategy of the organisation and ensuring that the work of the organisation fulfills its vision, mission and values. In particular, we are looking for people with experience in fundraising, programme development, monitoring and evaluation, and business development.

This is a valuable opportunity for someone who wants to gain professional experience, give back to the community and play an active role in the fight against poverty in the UK.
